Looking Beyond

When I looked beyond her, I saw a face as radiant as the sun but dull as the rain clouds

She glowed like a star but dimmed as the dark night

Looking so open but filled with soo many secrets

Whiles she looked so innocent yet heavily tainted

All because I looked beyond the exterior

Late night walk in the park….2

My heart kept leaping with joy as I opened the window to let my beloved in but he simply shook his head slowly

I was surprised at first but the very moment he took my hand, all other thoughts flew out of my head.

He quietly pulled me to him and hugged me tight, after what felt like eternity, we released each other and that was when he told me where we were going

A midnight stroll down the lanes of the park was truly beautiful as he held me throughout

Even the cold night breeze did nothing to eliminate the joy I felt inside and that was when I felt that special someone who was watching us shoot an arrow at us

Cupid,

He shot his arrow right when my lover told me he was leaving the country

A single tear rolled down my cheek as he spoke

Now here’s a summary of my late night stroll in the park….

I fell in love with my beloved only for him to go away

Late night walk in the park….1

I was laying in bed thinking of when I’ll get the chance to see him again

I looked at the wall clock, the wrist watch and just about the same moment the church clock struck 12

Yes, it was midnight and I was still deprived of sleep

Just as I pulled my comforter over my head I heard two taps on my window

Step after step I got to my window  and looking out I saw him

You know that cliche moment where your heart skips a thousand beats and triples them again?

Yes, that is the feeling I had when I saw my lover at the window

But wait, I knew someone was watching us from a distance.

The story continues…..

THE ABUSE SERIES – BULLYING

“Hey you!!!!

What do you think you’re doing here?

Come over here!!!!

Haven’t I warned you not to come anywhere close to my gang? Haven’t I???”

As soon as I heard those words I wished the earth would just swallow me up because I knew what was coming next

Maybe you know what’s coming next too but if you do not know then lemme enlighten you

~Hi, my name is Sawyer and I am a junior in high school

Ever since the very first day I stepped foot into my school, I have been taunted and haunted by a group of boys here.

What’s worse? I have no one to tell because it seems no one actually cares about me being bullied by some seniors.

Oh and lest I forget, apart from no one actually caring, I don’t think I can even tell because I’m actually scared of what they might do to me if they ever find out

So back to where I left off at the beginning…

I wished the earth would swallow me up because

They are going to beat the life out of me

Yes they are going to beat me for no reason whatsoever

They just find it fun to do that to me and trust me this is not the first time

When it all started, I tried to report the issue to the authorities but they didn’t take any serious action with them and after that whole experience, it just got worse.

Every where they see me I have to be punched or slapped or kicked or at worse be threatened with knives and all that.

Now I’m scared of coming to school

I now detest a place a used to love

And I’m even scared of home because sometimes when I go home and my parents see all the bruises on my body they begin to ask questions

But I have no proper answer to give them so I just lie to them that I hit my head or something of that sort.

I’m scared because they are everywhere I go which means I get hit everywhere I go

In the washroom, the hallway, the classroom, the compound and anywhere else you can think of they are there

I wish this would all just end

I wish I don’t have to go through this every time

Sometimes I wish I could talk to someone but I can’t

I feel dejected and broken

I can’t take this anymore

The hate is too much for me

I want it all to be over

I just want to die

This is my Story….~
